Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm: Generations

Unread post by Synnthetic » 26 Apr 2012, 16:10

Good game, but the storymode gets hard as all fuck when you get into the final fights of each story. Like, you face enemies with +70 attack and support characters, while you fight them alone without the ability of Awakening or Ultimate Jutsu. Fucking bullshit. And enemies block and dodge, a lot. So, don't keep anything breakable near you.

Online play is good. Only saw one guy spamming an attack, but I didn't have to fight him, so it's all good. People on there got some nice talent. I got put down outright during one of the tournaments. Lmao.

So many characters, too~ I love being able to play as Akatsuki.

Scratch that. Every fucking kid I just fought today except the asian one spammed their cheapest attack over and over again until I bashed my glasses case til my knuckles turned red.

That's awful I hate when people just spam one thing in any game. I remember people doing it all the time in Soul Caliber. I've been playing Age of Empires Online lately and people just spam the hell out of battering rams to destroy all your buildings. I haven't played any of the Naruto games that weren't sprite-based but the cheap spamming is universally annoying.

I'm not a fan of Street Fighter. Ugly characters. And I suck at it. Only type of fighting games of that style that I ever enjoyed were Soul Calibur and King of Fighters.

Lol wut. King of Fighters was pretty much the same as Street Fighter. Only difference is that you have a bunch of Kyo clones instead of Hadouken people.

Yeah, it was the characters that I didn't like in SF. They were all ugly. ; A ; Except Remi? Was Remi in SF?

if you like the anime style fighters try blazblue or persona 4:arena when it comes out. theyre arc games so they have a high ass learning curve but theyre quite a bit of fun.

Yeah, I saw Blazblue, and it looks nifty, but I'd rather have a fighting game with more mobility than the 'Mortal Kombat' genre. Only reason I'm a fan of Soul Calibur is because you can create your own character, and KoF because I'm just an Iori fanboy. Blazblue looks like it'd kick my ass.
